more treasures...

Every day has been like Christmas morning, and that's no exaggeration.
This beautiful piece of wood is a piece of reclaimed Western Red Cedar
from the West Coast (already on the ground).
Beautiful... 3 inches thick, 3 feet wide, 14 feet tall (originally...)
I wasn't able to get a good angle, but Tom Lyman
shaped it like the state of Vermont. Artistic design by David Thomas.

The wood has an oil rub on it for now
(I didn't clean sawdust from other activity off of it before taking pictures!)
and will continue to dry out for a few years. We'll be polyurethaning it in 6 months or so.

MOVE IN DATE a week from Friday!!!

  1. Hi, this is Graham from Northend Hardwoods. We just posted on our Website about this great use of this piece of Cedar. Can you send along the contact info and website for your designers and builders for this. I'd love to link to their work from our post! Thanks
