Boys are back!

At some point this room, where the Joe's,
trains and games are packed... will be a wine cellar.

Black Walnut slab that our neighbor, Dick, gave to Dave
because he was tired of it being in his woodshop.

It is the most beautiful piece of wood you have ever seen.
Tom Lyman finished it for us.

Bathroom... I'm going to hang one of Dave's sugaring cans off a
tap that I'll put in the wood wall to use as a wastebasket.

Hurricane Irene

Calm before the storm. Mom had to get one more sweep in.

Anyone know what this is?? It was like a banana slug... HUGE!
About four inches long, and half an inch thick.

Monday, around noon.
Five houses were lost in Jamaica.
Dropped in the river in area behind the store on that little dirt road.

The debris under the bridge is probably what knocked the bridge out.

Houses that fell in were down to the right.
Bulldozers were working to try and reduce the flow of water.

Beside the green house, (above and below), there was a red barn that ended up in the river. There's no trace of it!
